Mytur Binsdirti

1969 Dodge Daytona wing modified for 1966 Charger

"Modified" being the key word.

I'm pretty sure it is also, although I never thought I'd see the day.  Is it a joke?

J.Bond

Oh Crap......

That's Mauve 66, hope everything is Ok.......

Like others have said....hope all is well with Mauve and that perhaps he has just found another project he wants.  Sad to see a dream unfulfilled.   I was hoping to see the Charger completed........

Ghoste

Same here, guessing no one has tried to contact him?

ODZKing

Yeah, that is Mauve66, Robert from Vegas.
I think I will drop him a line.

From the ad it sounds like he is ready to move onto something else. That 66 has been stalled out for a long time. It happens.

My Dad taught me about TIME TRAVEL.
"If you don't straighten up, I'm going to knock you into the middle of next week!" :P

ODZKing

Emailed him yesterday.  Got a short reply.  Sems everything is OK, just "want to get out of the Mopar biz" he said.

What's the difference between a hobby and a bad habit?  A hobby is something we choose because we like it; once our feelings change then it just becomes a bad habit, an addiction that needs to get kicked to the curb.  I wouldn't be surprised if his intentions to sell aren't genuine though; unless I misunderstand the article I don't think too many people will be interested in buying both vehicles as a "combo" deal...

GPULLER

Have always like that car.  Too bad he's selling.

Dino

I was hoping to see that car on the road some day.  Shame.

What's with the triple shifter setup?
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Ghoste

Its just one of those Hurst Lightning Rod setups like you could get in the mid 80's Hurst Olds modified with pistol grip handles.

Dino

I'll have to look it up as I don't know what they do.  I was dreaming of a Delorean in the mid 80's.   :icon_smile_big:

J.Bond

Not a bad asking price, just doing a little math on what he has posted, aside from the fact, some assembly required !!!! is a given. I'm thinking this is somewhere around 50 cents on the dollar??? And I did not even include the wing......

RallyeMike

I agree - I have always liked this car (without the wing). I would love to see this car in person when completed.

Disassembled projects usually can be had for a good deal if you are willing to bet everything is actually there.
