If when it comes time to put the chrome plate back on you could drill another set of holes between the ones you have and no one would notice the extras under the chrome ring

Look at hood pin pictures for a 70 Charger and then for a 69 Daytona and you will notice which way they are on the hood chrome ring

Love it!
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

Thanks for posting.  My favorite of the bunch is of your (?) kid relaxing and contemplating what the next step should be.  Your car is going to be beautiful when done.

Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."? 

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us. 

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....
