I did indeed recently purchase a '69 Dart Western Sport Special.
The drive train on the car was in great shape as was the suspension.
The body needed some work.......more than I wanted to take on.
In short the seller bought it back.......I dodged a big bullet there.
The seller told me if I didn't want the he'd buy it back so that
was the outcome of that car. An honorable man who was as good
as his word.

This '72 Swinger I bought yesterday is an order of magnitude better.

Pictures in process........

41Husk,

Where Mopar are concerned it is a matter of needing to
acquire another one whether I have room for it or not.
With a 2 car garage something's got to live outside.
The Charger will never live outside and that's a tennant
of the insurance on it. This new addition will live in the garage
as well which leaves me having to keep my '09 Ram hemi
truck outside. The saving grace here is that living in the PRK
the weather is very moderate.
Somehow I'll get the Ram sheltered.  :shruggy:

Gawd I miss Oregon. Born in Portland.
The guy I bought that '69 from wanted it back
to drop a 383 in it. When he came over to
buy it he brought his GF.........who
just happens to work a local auto salvage
yard hence his 383.
I'll keep an eye out for you DJ.

Beware of this Fresno car. The advertiser lists the car from Santa Cruz but
says the car is in Fresno.
I didn't have a good feeling about it.

If you feel there's a profit to be made, then why not?  I did that this summer with a 72 Cutlass Supreme.  Bought certified, drove all summer, sold in the fall at a profit.  Best of luck!  Everyone here knows; we all need that Charger money!
Every great legend has it's humble beginning.

i bought the Dart for a good price @ $6300

that.

Here's the breakdown of the fender
tag. It's curious that there is no code for
the AC on the car. It's installed as it woukd be from
the factory with Chrysler parts.
I suspect it was a dealer install.
Also interesting that the car was made
in Canada having been built for US order.

God bless the Candian military.
