WHITE AND RED 69

Just saw some pics on a custom 68 charger with a 70 front end shown at this years SEMA show. I know the custom one off show cars are not this crowds favorite but I think it is KILLER! Wheels and stance are badass and it just looks sweet sitting there! Carbon fiber front end and a 1650 hp twin turbo motor.   :drool5:

It would be cool to see if carbon fiber parts will start being made for the second gens. Don't want to see the price of em but new parts are always welcomed in my book, even if I can only afford them in my dreams.

The shop that is building it also did this 70 for a member here. Seen this one in person and the quality is outstanding! So this next one should be even better.

Yeah, car looks great imo...Would have preferred the 68 grill, but oh well.

There is another really nice Charger at SEMA from the Roadster Shop:

I really like the center console/dash set up as it is the extreme side of the subtle twist I'm planning.

Definitely some cool stuff coming out...

I agree with you on the Carbon Fiber pieces!

I like the radiator setup something I want to do.....but the inlet won't permit me.

This car is a thousand times better than that hideous thing from the RS.

It is reminiscent but I like it better than Stropes and way better than some of the other boogered up high dollar customs.

I like the wheels and stance of the car but I miss the stainless trim. I don't need all of it but none of it isn't a favorite for me either.   I do like those wheels/tires though and the rubber band thing isn't usually good looking.

I like the 70 carbon fiber pieces and I love the wheels on the Roadster Shop car. Not a fan of the car without bumpers- looks unfinished.

Nice work and all.  Meh.

Wasn't that second one another in the long line of built-to-the-hilt pro-street cars that the owner put their signature on....and then turned around and just sold it?

The bumpers are there, however they're tucked in.  I don't like bumpers hanging off of cars like the factory did it; looks tacked on and destroys the beautiful, muscular curves and lines of the car...

They are the most beautiful so it stands to reason those pimps want to get their hooks into them.

Thanks for the pics!  :2thumbs: It's always cool to see one-off cars like this. Not personally a taste I would have, but definitely exciting to look at!

I saw that on Mercury Racing's (hi-po marine) FB page, i wondered what it was doing there. I'm not sure that Charger is actually Mopar powered, looks like a Mercury Racing Marine engine under the hood. Mercury has some absolutely insane performance boat engines, the 1075hp, the 1350hp and i think a new 1650hp engine, all of which are proprietary engines designed by Mercury, i don't believe the engines are based on any automotive brand blocks. They are also insanely priced, like more than an average house costs!! Besides Mopars, my other big passion is performance boating, i wish Mopar was bigger in the marine world. I think the front looks funny with the carbon fiber exposed front fenders, they look out of place and unfinished.
