Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone on the forum has had a car restored or done business with a company named "General Lee Chargers"? They are located in Troutman, NC and specialize in converting 68-69 chargers to General Lees, but also do other older model restorations.
Thanks

DO NOT buy anything from that guy!!! He scammed me back in 08 when I knew little about these cars and sold me a bondo heap GL on ebay. The car was advertised as a driver, however it had a blown engine with 1 lugnut holding each wheel on. When I got the car he even took multiple parts off it after the auction. The floors were sheet metal pop riveted over rusted out sections and coated with road tar, the entire car was hand formed bondo over rust. The roof and rear valance were non-existant. It was pure bondo over chicken wire that even filled the headliner. There was gallons of bondo in the car up to 1.5 inches thick. I lost $16,000 on this car. Stay far away from that crook "bud" in Troutman NC!  :Twocents:
