Up on blocks in the garage now, done for the year.   :'(

Not sure, I've only had it back on the road since August and was not able to get it to run as it should.  When I worked full time I'd put around 3K miles on it each year but I think I only have about 600 on it this year.  I don't drive it to college because these kids can't park to save their lives.  I'll have to check the pictures that show my odometer from last year to see how much I put on it this year, but I still have 4 more weeks to play with it.   :icon_smile_big:

So how's that elephant running after 2K miles?

Running so-so.  (How does it sound in the vid?)

Next year...new carb and dizzy.   :yesnod:

Dino

I don't know why I thought you had a hemi,  I must be tired...

It sounds pretty good, a whole lot better than mine!

Car hit the road about 6 weeks ago - just over 700 miles.

Mostly weekends but did drive it to work a few times.

About 1000 miles each in both the 69 and 70. Wasn't really very nice for a good part of our summer. I had them both out yesterday for the last time this year.

At the end of last season I had just got the car on the road, and I think I parked it in the barn with ~90 miles on it.  Spent the first couple months of the season messing with the carb, eventually got it running half decent.  Got ~2950 miles on it now, still driving it to work when I can so I should break 3000 this year, then I can change the oil.  :icon_smile_big:  Got the heater working this year so we'll run it until they start salting the roads.  For next season I need to install some offset control arm bushings, couple of rear speakers, and a gas tank return line/regulator.

It's nice out, I need a new backpack, I'm gonna add a few miles on the old beast.   :2thumbs:

Zero.  :'(

The Road Runner was out of commission all year, mostly because my health was out of commission the whole year.  My surgery and recovery are a huge success, and I now have the Hemi fixed and running as well.

So the miles are zero, the idling time was maybe 3 hours.  But hey it's only November so there will be some miles before year end.  :icon_smile_big:

Don't know yet but it'll be a couple or three thousand.  Depends on the weather but I'm thinking it's about to get crappy.

5,000-Finished car in June, really had a lot of fun driving. My son got a kick out of it! Many thumbs up! Can't wait till next year-Installing a 5-speed.

Dino

I put a few hundred more on it since I last posted in here, but I still don't know the total as I don't seem to have a picture with last years odometer reading.  Let's just say it wasn't enough and I will have to try harder next year.   :icon_smile_big:

600 or so on my '69 alone.
I'd say at least a few hundred or so more between the '68 & '70, so over 1000 for sure.

It was a good summer here. No big trips, just lots of short little side trips, 2 shows, and time spent with my boy. It was sunny and 64 degrees F here at 10:00AM this morning. It's 10:50 now, the wind is howling and the temp has dropped 20 degrees. In about 1/2 hour it will be either raining or snowing. By tonight they are calling for 12 degrees. The high tomorrow is supposed to be 18 degrees.  Last Wednesday, I met a friend for lunch and we ate on the patio while I watched the car parked out front on Main Street. After lunch, I picked my 5th grader up from school in it. It was a good Spring. Summer, and Fall (while it lasted).  I was going to get it out one last time this AM (before this storm hit), but other things intervened.  I guess I'll go into the garage and cover it up now, maybe throw some fuel stabilizer in it.  Next Spring will be it's 47th (& my 20th with it). It's been fun.
