My Daytona came with a Broadcast Sheet, so I know it wasn't built with it, but it currently has power steering. Would you convert back to manual, or just leave it on? Would driveability suffer a lot? (I do want to be able to continue to drive it.) I've never driven a B body with manual steering. I know it's a personal preference thing, just looking for opinions.

it will be a bear to park and make corners at slow speeds, but once you get it going, it's not all that bad...tire width will have an effect also

I'd keep the power steering, an upgrade to a Firm Feel stage III rebuild of the PS box would be a better choice as well

Keep the power steering if you plan to drive the car.

If you do go back to manual steering you will have to have a longer steering column.  Good Luck! :shruggy: :brickwall:

nope....same column, just tap the center shaft down to steering box....you will however have to get a different coupler

Keep the power, I have 275-60S on mine and moving in tight spaces is brutal.. :yesnod:

Thanks everyone for the input. I imagined it would hurt drivability but thought I would ask. It would have been nice to put it back to original.

Thanks again.
