Fair enough, I was trying to draw something from a hat that was more modern and not so desirable.  Maybe they should do a 1960 Seneca?

I take your point.....but I'll bet there's Seneca fans out there that would be PO'ed too. :scratchchin:

I saw something similar to a Seneca at a NHRA hot rod reunion.....IIRC, announcer said a 61 Phoenix.....looked damm good to me.

But one must be realistic.......largeXhuge slicks and enough power to do a proper burnout......seem to drastically improve a cars looks....... :yesnod:

How about an 80s 2 dr K car? Everybody seems to hate them......

JB400

Leave those type of modifications to a Camaro.  The Roadster Shop done a 68 with some Camaro touches as well for Sema.  It doesn't look pretty either :eek2:

WHITE AND RED 69

Ditch the colored wheels and the roadrunner quarter scoop and it could look alright?  :shruggy:  There was a 70 charger recently that added the quarter scoop and it just looked out of place.

JMO, The Charger design......and really, applies to all years, but especially to 2nd gens......is simply so good, adding anything distracts from the purity of it's lines.

A few exceptions of course, like the 3rd gen airgrabber fits......and works well with the lines. And the extended snout and bar to dry your towels on the back.

The design is just that good. :yesnod:

... and the god-awful stripe ... and the hideous air-dam...  This build is supposed to be modification - not mortification.

I wonder if this project will go forward after the editor change.

Probably more than ever, are there any Mopar people on staff there now?
