why would you want glass fenders?  If they were part of any deal i did, i`d toss em in the dumpster at work. :yesnod:  To me they wouldnt be worth the space they occupy.

they dent less easily than metal ones.... and rust far less often.
feel free to 'throw' a pare my way if you feel like that about them  ;D
dosent make sence for me to track down a decent set of metal fenders for my project and pay god knows what for them. Id rather get the ones that look just as good, and are readly avalible for replacement.... Not like my car is going back to stock any way.

Ohhhh...Did I mention I was getting "another" Superbee hood with insert from the guy?

There's suppose to be more parts coming from the 73 deal too.   The previous owner owes him all of the remainder of the parts which I will get too.

For the Charger inquiring minds:  The 72 deal is $200.00.  It comes with Hideaways, matching aluminum 15" slot wheels, perfect 73/74 SE tail lights.  The car is rusty, but every miscellaneous part and bolt will be saved.

I still have to go to New York to get more Charger parts this weekend.

I have to admit. I do find some deals.  I am by no means trying to rub it in to you.  But you must remember, it sometimes takes alot of effort and money to find that deal.  I do go to alot of shows.  Spend alot of money on vendor spaces, fuel, lodging, food, etc.  I have met alot of people in the Mopar world.  I have a good network and do work hard at it.

The Ghoul has been a big help recently with my Charger parts.  So I called him last Saturday to see what he was up to.  He was just hanging out at home.  I scooped him up and went for a ride.  The Ghoul saw what I paid the guy.  Which I really didn't care.  Next time he's going to have to stay in the truck...haha.

I will always chase a mopar!

I think many people completely underestimate all of the work and expense that does go into chasing after cars and parts. I know that i have put at least 20,000 "extra" miles on my truck in the last 3 or 4 years chasing after cars and parts. Not to mention all of the extra space eating  stuff you end up with that is more or less non sellable.

Congrats on the great finds. I dont consider them to be some kind of stupid blind luck though. I see it as the fruition of hard work. You spend more time and money finding the deals and then you close them.

Nupe

Dang!  Even a matching set of slots?  Now I'm really jealous.  :P

Exactly!  Maybe this summer I can get back into the chase since got kind of burned out from it the past couple years.  My non car guy friends always think it is odd too when they call on my days off and the answer is always "I'm at this junk yard.."  :icon_smile_cool:
