Anyone have a removal instructions for the headlight dimmer switch on a 67 charger? I need to either replace it or clean the contacts. I'm not sure if I need to remove the cluster and access it from the top or from under the dash. I'm assuming that it also unscrews from the front?

thanks in advance

I strongly suggest getting a service manual for these cars if you plan on doing electrical work.....with that being said, here's how you remove headlight switch:

Disconnect battery cable, pull out headlight knob all the way, reach under dash and find the little push button on the switch opposite the wire connector, push button in and while holding it in, pull knob out the rest of the way, then unscrew the chrome bezel holding switch to dash, pull switch out from under dash and remove from wire harness. New switches are available from NAPA under $20
