ok my next question is, my charger has a 727 trans with the valve body reversed, how hard is it to put it back the right way? how much is it gonna cost me and can i find the correct shift linkage and valve body?

if it has a reverse pattern shift, could mean it has been built to handle more than 450 horsepower.  if it works fine, leave it, you will be making a backward step.

In many cases when a RMVB is installed the governor is also removed. To restore full-auto function you'll need a  valve body that's correct for your year, the throttle pressure linkage and the governor parts. Shift linkage should work with either
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

As mentioned you will need the throttle pressure linkage (kickdown) and difficulty finding it and the shifter linkage will depend on what year you are working on and if it is a column shift or floor shift application as some years the 904/727 pieces are mostly the same and some years they are mostly all different
