     How is the seam finished where the quarter meets the rocker on the underside of the rocker.

Sure some still use lead but a top metal filler is better.  Why not just weld it shut?  If I ever redo mine I'm welding that seam completely just as I will remove that horrendous roof/quarter joint and replace it with new steel.

All Metal here (which is aluminum impregnated filler that you can drill/tap and is rust/waterproof) .  The only thing that comes to mind is if you drive in the rain, it may collect there.  I don't intend to drive mine in the rain very often though and I'm ok with making it look nicer.  :Twocents:
