He tells us how much he spent on the car as part of the pitch.  :pity:

Perhaps he could hold up a sign at an off ramp somewhere.  Need help--spent the family's money on an old car.--- :eek2:

1974dodgecharger

why spend all that money on a car and then sell it at a loss and not enjoy it or anything?

chargerperson

Agree, selling after 1,700 KMs (strange unit of measurement for California car). Listing could use some help as there are no pictures of the underside - New suspension, transmission, etc....  Also what is that white cable in the interior? Take it out of the picture  Did do a decent job of keeping a correct console with the new transmission (I am not a '70 expert but looks like the right console).

And an XH29 car... if going all out like this why not find an R/T?

White cable is probably an iPhone hookup.  But yes, it is distracting.

Yep you beat me to it, an XH29 car  :shruggy:

I will have to admit it is a nice interior done right. Looks correct at least.

Nice car, ugly price...

Well we don't have to buy it but we can admire it.That doesn't cost a thing. :coolgleamA:

Vice nice car.  I'd like to see what it looked like before the owner threw 130,000$ at it though...

i think they do it because they feel it justifies thier asking price.  :shruggy:
same reason people wash a POS before taking pics. to make the paint appear in better shape.

Nothing new to me.  I see it all the time.

People do not understand that what they paid for a house/car/pool etc. and what it is worth is not the same thing.

If he had thrown 130K into a Hemi Daytona that would be a different story.

Ghoste

Its been that way with old cars for as long as I can remember now.  Whats changed is the amount of money some people "invest" in them before presenting them for appraisal, I mean for sale.

Dino

It would have helped if he had invested in how to write a proper ad, or hire someone to do it for him.   :eek2:
