Agree, selling after 1,700 KMs (strange unit of measurement for California car). Listing could use some help as there are no pictures of the underside - New suspension, transmission, etc....  Also what is that white cable in the interior? Take it out of the picture  Did do a decent job of keeping a correct console with the new transmission (I am not a '70 expert but looks like the right console).

 not wanting to start any thing ,  cant help noticing ,    in  more & more ebay ads recently  , just because someone  has , thrown 130 k in parts a labour at a  , for arguments sake , lets say  a original  slant 6  , or 318 charger ,  the car is now worth 150 k or the owner wants that much for it     , think you get the idea ,    

 don't know where i'm going with this  ,

i think they do it because they feel it justifies thier asking price. 
same reason people wash a POS before taking pics. to make the paint appear in better shape.

Nothing new to me.  I see it all the time.

People do not understand that what they paid for a house/car/pool etc. and what it is worth is not the same thing.

If he had thrown 130K into a Hemi Daytona that would be a different story.

Its been that way with old cars for as long as I can remember now.  Whats changed is the amount of money some people "invest" in them before presenting them for appraisal, I mean for sale.
