Speedo Cable Clips/Fasteners...

Once both ends of the speedo cable are hooked up, how many clips/fasteners hold it to the car? And where do they contact the car at???

I removed my dash and everything out the car and when I came across the speedo cable I found on mine it disconnects at both ends and pulled through a rubber grommet nothing holding it to the car, but that may be wrong I don't know that's just how mine was if that's any help

there is a clip near the brake proportioning valve  on the frame rail & then about in the middle of the driver side floor pan there is one  welded  to the pan
