Hello all,

I take advantage to be member of a Dodge forum to ask something :
One of my friends is restoring a WW2 Dodge WC51 and is looking for some specific parts.
Do you know where he can find ? Maybe if some of you are interested by these terrific trucks.

I'll make a photo ASAP.

I'd enjoy seeing the progress of that restoration.
I suggest he Google "military vehicle restoration parts".

Worth a few taps on a keyboard mon ami no?
FLY NAVY/Marine Corps or take the bus!

Sure Twodko, I didn't took time to make a quick search.
My friend isn't a real internet fan, so he missionned me to find him parts :)

It was just to ask members for already known sellers or recommended garages.

Thanks Shakey for the link!  :2thumbs:

As a Side note... ITS crazy to know how 'any vehicles were left behind after the war by the allieds.
A friend of a buddy of me bought a NOS out of the crate Willy's jeep in france a few years ago. Just as they came from the boat in '44.
He did pat alom of coin for it tho.
Greetings from Belgium, the beer country

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

Yeah, it's true. My grandfather used to tell me how much beautiful cars he saw on the dance clubs' parkings after the allies left France.
Shipping costs were too expensive to bring back their cars in USA.

My friend loves all cars from post WW period. I'll take photos as soon as I go back to his garage.

Years ago VPW brought back tons of parts from overseas in 2 different areas. Containers of stuff from the old days. There used to be some british guys on the forum that might be able to help you out on that side of the pond.
