Can't get a definite answer by searching. What is the size of speaker that you can install in the rear mounts?

Anyone? I have heard 5x7, 6x9, 6x8? Which fits the rear housing without having to hack it up? :popcrn:

I've always fit 6x9s in my 68 and 70 and they bolt right in with no modification needed.

i got 6x9's in my 69. the drivers side went right in.  the passenger side wasnt stamped perfectly oval, there was about a 3" piece that i trimmed a little bit off of to get it to go in.  not the only car i have seen that way. but it wasnt a big deal
