By the look of the tailpanel, the GTX Emblems on the side scoops as well as the big back window I would say it's a GTX with a wing and flairs added

Your probably right.  Either way, I think those 70's-80's paint jobs are cool.  Take us all back in time a bit - at least me.  If I had a wing car that had one of those old school paint jobs, I'd probably paint it that way!
