What's the going rate for a A518 with lock up converter?

It'll be a long time before I can stick a 6 speed in the Charger so the next  best thing will be to stick an A518 with lock up converter behind the 440 for now.  Prices seem to be all over the place so what is a good price for one of these?  There's a company in Detroit that sells them rebuilt for $850.  Is that fair?
