The seventh digit is where the car was assembled should be the following letters:
Lynch Road=A
Hamtrack=B
Los Angeles=E
St. Louis=G

Correct me if I'm wrong Mighty wing but I believe 68' chargers will only have a B or G.. other plants didn't join in until 69'

Correct....should only be B or G.  I had copy/pasted a generic listing for all '68 cars.  Good catch!

I don't think the mod is that hard up for your VIN as long as you post a pic of your car and provide some parts of the vin he will put you on the map. I think its great and a start to something that no one else as gotten this far for the 68 where the 69 and 70 have full fledged registerys etc..
