Hey all, im wanting to start building a 426 hemi to go in a 1970 dodge charger, really excited as always wanted this since been a kid. im now 24

Im struggling finding a workshop manual for one , i.e containing torque specs , and ideally part numbers etc.   Does anyone know where there is either a download for one or the name of a book that i could buy?

Thats one issue out of the way, my next is, im doing alot of research into where to import parts from,  where does everyone usually go for parts, Ideally im looking at buying a manufactured block with all the recent updated bits etc and also same with headers. But any ideas and names of place not just for engine parts but charger, transmission axles etc

So yeah any help and ideas you guys could help me with would be much appreciated.   Its something im very determined to do,

Many thanks for your help in advance

Chris

Ive used this site to get torque specs for my engine.   Took a screenshot and saved it to my phone for easy access :P

I cant vouch for any of these books but Amazon has a bunch for the 426.

Are you looking to purchase a "complete" new 426 Hemi Engine ? or just the parts to build your own ?

maybe call "Tim" at FHO... "For Hemi's Only" in Bewdley Ontario Canada.
tell him Bob at rmp said to call...

Tim deals specifically in HEMI's.

He's probably backed up 6 months or more... same as all of us !!... but worth the wait on HEMI Head parts.
