Just wondering if you guys had any opinion on MR Moparts as a vendor? Ive only had a MOPAR for 2 years (68 Charger) and I am still trying to figure out who I want to buy stuff from. Ive kind of been a Corvette guy over the years and there are a bunch of great websites where you can go and get any part you want. As I'm sure you guys know getting stuff for a Charger is a lot harder and I cant really find a site that has a lot of variety of parts and/or a usable website. Not familiar w/ MR Mopar just discovered them recently and I have a big list of stuff to buy for my doors that I am trying to fix up. Hoping I could hear from a few guys that have some experience buying off of their website, good or bad?

Thanks - Brian

It really depends on what parts you're looking for.  This site is really helpful and then there's always evil-bay.  Lucky you didn't get into the Charger thing like I did in '94; if you think it's hard to find parts now it was impossible back then...

good people go ahead and order from them....done it many times in fact drove up to their place before to pick up a part in an emergency.

Patronus

I've purchased more than a couple times from them. They had a big tent at our speedway for Mile High Mopars...left with an arm load. Plus, they're close (to me) in AZ.

Great guys, thanks for the feedback, makes me feel comfortable buying from them, sounds like they have a good reputation and their website is easy to use which is a huge plus.

I made one purchase from them. Turned out they were resellers from Legendary for that item and it shipped from Lengendary. When the order was delayed they did communicate with me and were nice. I receive the item directly from Legendary but didn't have an issue with it as it was what I ordered through MRMoparts.

Hard Charger

I had a problem with an order from them earlier this summer. well it was more like bad communication that turned into a delay.

took 3-4 calls, and I blasted them in the end. felt bad about that.

in the end they gave me what I had originally expected from the beginning.

Recommend stay away from Mrmoparts.net never answer phone emails go unanswered terrible communication spend 50.00 dollars just to test the water and nothing  :flame:. Purchase 500.00 with  521restorations.com excellent folks fast shipping already have parts great communication received parts in week time couldn't be happier. :2thumbs:

I've been restoring my 68' Charger, which I purchased in 1977 (at age 16), for six years and ordered parts from just about every vendor specializing in B-bodies, including Mr. Moparts.
Hands down, my best vendor is Jeff Brown @ 521 Restorations. Jeff is extremely knowledgeable of Mopars. Their pricing and shipping rates are comparative, and in many cases much lower than competitors. Where they really shine is their customer support after the sale. I would routinely get E-mails and/or texts on orders, ensuring the product was delivered and the customer was satisfied.

Two months ago I ordered a complete glass set from Jeff, which is dropped shipped by AMD out of GA. Twice, the glass was received chipped and/or scratched. Upon receipt of one box, the contents rattled, as the entire panel was shattered. Jeff was contacted immediately and within hours, resolved of the situation. A weeks later I received all new components.
My only complaint is that 521 Restorations doesn't offer more products, such as interior fasteners and related components.

No problems here but then I drive over and pick my stuff up.
