  yeah , its been going on for years !   lot of the  knock off  junk comes from india , or use to ,  you would be shocked at what & the amount of substandard parts they make/ manufacture  :-\!  for all kinds of makes of car .

I'd be happy if the legitimate players in the repro industry would just do a decent job of "counterfeiting" the original 45yo parts.

I think some of them do a great job but there sure are a bunch that are way off the mark.  Fuel senders come to mind.
