Anyone have anything good or bad to say about BEA Restoration parts. I have not seen them before.
Thanks,

79JON

I recently bought a dash pad from them for my 1970 Charger.   Great great piece!   I have not installed it yet but it is very nice.  My brother has installed the dash pads on a few other cars he has restored and he says they fit great and is the best pads around.  Hope that helps.

Thanks Guys, getting ready to order some upper door pads, just wated to make sure they were worth while.

Dino

I hear the pads are pretty good but the grain doesn't match the originals.  If you are ordering all 4 then it'll look great, only 2 and it "may" look a bit off.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Haven't seen them before? If you think of AMD as sheet metal and Legendary as interior then BE&A is "everything else". BE&A and PG Classics are essentially the same (if you've heard of that company). The difference, typically, is that BE&A sells parts with the correct part numbers/markings and has to pay Mopar licensing fees - which means the price is usually higher for the exact same part. In many cases, BE&A/PG is the only manufacturer (68 Charger tail light assemblies for example). In cases where there are multiple manufacturers of the same part the BE&A version is typically more correct and/or nicer.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

I've had good luck with their stuff too.

I've ordered a lot of parts from both Mike at BEA and Peter at PG-Classics.  As has been said, Mike just imports the stuff that Peter has made in China and then sells them in the USA with the Mopar Part #'s (if they had a part number visible).  Peter's part has the Mopar p/n ground off.

Most everything that I've ordered has been very good to excellent.  Just wish that Peter would repop a few parts that so far he has not made.  FOR EXAMPLE---69 Charger Lower Dash Pads (AC car) and the heater control bezel.  The bezel that he has shown in his catalog is not the right part---I know because I ordered one and had to send it back on my dime.

He has been promising to have the Lower Dash pads for at least 3 years that I know of.  Of course, there is Just Dashes in CA that would end up costing twice as much.

I bought a set of tail lights from BE&A at least four years ago, had to send the first two sets back, the paint was not good. I think it was early in the run.

I have bought many other items from Mike over the years with no problems, and fast shipping, I would recommend him.

After saying that, I called PG, and decided to take advantage of there lower price, and 15% off, and bought another set of tail lights, and
a couple sets of side markers.

To my suprise, both of the tail light housings had all the part numbers, evan though I did ask him if they had the numbers,
and he said no ''and I had already known that''. We grind them all off he tells me. Well not on this set, but the Petastar was not there, but I was happy
for the price, and great quality this time.

Everything I have gotten from Mike at BE&A has been top-notch. If there was a flaw, he took care of it. I had one item over the years that was bad and he replaced it no-prob.

Slow shipping from B/E&A ? They have always been the fastest shippers I deal with.

No problems, here either. If there ever was, Mike (BE/A) was always helpful to resolve it.  :yesnod:
Never had to mail order anything, as I used to see their huge swap meet spot at the larger Mopar shows. From what I understand they no longer do swap meets, so I guess it's now mail order only.
