heres a strange one,

sometimes when I put my foot on the brake the radio will turn off for a second then come back on again, It is a new radio that was using the same wire of the old radio. I changed to another wire from the fuse box and still have same problem. this radio requires 2 power sources one being constant which maintains the settings and the other powered with the ignition on. Anyone else heard of this problem?

That one's new to me.  Blowing the fuse when you put it in reverse that I've seen, but nothing related to the brakes.  I'll have to look at my diagram to see what could be the cause of that.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

in my 66 I had issue of the fuel, oil, & temp gauge rising to top when braking...turns out it was broken ground wire to firewall from engine
