I've searched for awhile now & cannot find the answer.   :brickwall:

Installing the forward lamp harness on the charger tonight.  I bought a new one from Year One.  The only mystery wire is a black wire with a boot on it.  It's on the first 1/2 of the harness coming from the bulkhead connector.

I have the FSM but can't find the wire on there either.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I think that's the wire going to the brake proportioning block
bolted to the frame right below the MC.

I installed a new front harness myself several months ago.
It has the same lead coming off it.

Yes, connects to the safety switch at that block and the warning light on the dash at the other end.

Yes, it does connect to the brake proportioning block, but on the subframe.

Found it!  Thanks for your help all.
I'm about 90% done with my ground up rebuild.  (never built a car before).
Couldn't have done it without this forum.  Only a couple of weeks away from firing her up!  Thanks!
