Frustrated with Front Discs...need some help

Ok, put in an aftermarket stock style front disc kit on my 68. Spindles and all. It came with the chevy style booster, but I didn't like the look of it under the hood, so I put in a disc drum booster from a 72 Charger with the matching master. The brakes worked before I upgraded the booster and master from the stock drum booster and master...now with the upgraded booster and master, the car brakes hard to the left, and I'm getting rotor wear on the left side. I have an adjustable proportioning valve on the back line. Anyone have any ideas? I didn't touch the stock distribution block at all.

Sounds like a caliper is sticking.

Agreed, if all you changed was the booster and master cylinder then it should be okay.

Did the kit come with new flex lines ? If your using old ones they could be collapsing .

But I still think sounds like sticking calliper

Yeah, I replaced the lines. They are rubber though. I was thinking that too, so I might get some braided ones made up.

You may not like the braided ones.  They're great for racing but on the street a rubber line has a certain amount of "give" to it when pressure is applied, sometimes the braided lines can make the calipers grab instantly and hard.  Not always pleasant when you are just sort of coasting to a stop.

I know it's counterintuitive but check the booster's push rod extension, if the rod is just barely too long it can cause only one caliper to drag.
