Quick seat fabric question for one last show

Would anyone have some advice on protecting this from spreading too far.
Wife and I are going to a car show tomorrow. Its gonna tear a lot I'm sure, I just have no idea if tape would just make it worse.

You can use super glue to hold it together. Used to have to do it on my Trans am bolsters. Take your time holding it in place and it should hold for a little while

There is a fabric with adhesives that you slide under the tear and secure with an iron.  Same stuff they use to make an iron on hem. on curtains and such.  I saw my wife use it a while ago, it should do the job and will hold for a very long time.
