what color ?

going crazy trying to think of a new color . I painted the car  about 2 years ago in the original b5 blue. Now totally sick of it, don't care about originality anymore. I plan to use a factory color for the 1970 year.  It is not an RT so resale value is not an issue.

what do you think is the ultimate color for a 2nd gen? .. original factory or not

Don, make it an rt , with the scoops badges and such,
Black , triple black , I think it suits the 70 better than 68's and 69's , members cars on the 70 forum , actually have a look there, some really nice cars on there and colours

Black does look very nice but be prepared for hours and hours of cleaning.  And hours.
Silver is by far the best looking hue.

DuPont hot hues "harvest flame "  looks great on any b body

harvest flame does look good. Good range of colours in the hot hues series. They also have a plum crazy.

if your sick of stock colors I suggest a burnt copper metallic......Stacey david from spike tv "trucks and "gearz" did a project years ago called copperhead


If you google it im sure it will come up. That copper color has always caught my eye on any vehicle...on a b body mopar  


of course flat black it very cool, will black out wheel and big rotors....I think there was a flat black charger in the last 'fast and furious movie" maybe it was in #5

or my final thought is do a sox and martin tribute....red white and blue!

High impact color for sure.
everybody does plum crazy or lime green.
Dont know the available colors for '70, but I like lemon twist yellow or candy apple red.
I know there are differences beween Dodge and Plymouth color names, and not all colors were avail on every model.

  what about put a vinyl top on !! white or black  will break up the large expanse of B5        like the vinyl top on a second generation charger  ,

Silver or red would be in the running and it would probably get painted one of these colors if you are changing it.

Be advised, sliver has a lot of metallic in it and is hard to sand unless you are going base coat/clear coat.  Beautiful color on a Charger, though.

Red is striking also but red seems to be the most expensive color paint you can buy. Why? I don't know but, it certainly was when I was buying paint!  Maybe it was because mine was a single-stage acrylic.

Anyway, my 2 top choices are red (R6 like mine) or silver (A4) !
