There has been some discussion about XV Motorsports recently so I thought I'd post whatever information I have. I am on the mailing list and received this in early August:

I just wanted to thank the people who stopped by and said hello at Carlisle, thanks for all the nice words and good wishes!!!

If any of you who on this list that didn't here XV Motorsports is no more, the company closed it's doors in February of this year.

I was the last hire there, and I was doing products development, fabrication and some mechanical work.

I decided after it closed that it would be a shame for all these products not to be available!!!  I have massaged the products making them stronger, lighter, and simplified.

Several of you asked about the 3 point seat belts, they are on order and will be available shortly, so please call and pre-order.  I will have the matching rear belts as well.

Right now I'm working on a Engine Bay Brace for the E Body.  It will have a removable front bar, making it easier to work in the engine bay.

Hopefully I will get a chance to build an A Body this winter. The one thing that was missing was the level II A Body front suspension, I have the 3 link rear completed.

I have all the specs for the Level I suspensions, I'm finishing up sources a few pieces, so that will be available shortly.

The Level II Front and Rear for B and E Bodies are currently available and built to order.

Please take a look at the website and contact me if there's anything that you are looking for..... :)

Thanks

Since then I have received notices that inner fender braces and lower radiator supports are in stock. If you've been waiting forever for either of these items now might be the time to buy. The engine brace mentioned above is also available now.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

polywideblock

glad you cleared that up I've just been reading an article on power windows in MM who lists XV as the supplier  thought it was weird as I had heard they shut

Its a subtle name change.  XV Motorsports has closed and this former employee is trying to keep the products available under the banner of XV Racing Products.
Anyone know why the mother company folded?

Piss poor customer service, out of stock conditions, they didn't make as much money as planned, owner decided he was tired of dealing with mopar people, all of the above, or take your pick.

Yes, they are "back in business" so to speak. As explained above, under new owner ownership of a former employee that has slightly altered the legal name.  The former company was XV Motorsports. The new one is going as XV Racing Products, their website is XV Engineering.  If you do a web search, this distinction is important because googling XV Racing takes you to a Honda Tuner site.

They are offering many of the same products as previously and trying to overcome a mountain of bad perception.
