Dans 68

Nice rig! I think it is a bit overpriced, but it probably will sell for near their asking number. That would be a great beater car as my daughter's first ride....  ;)

myk

Survivor status is a moot point IMO, because the new owner will probably have to do some metal work and repaint it anyway...

Great car, but it looks similar to one that sold up north recently? Maybe the same one?

Ok thanks. I figured so, how many like this can still be around in this age.

That thing has been around the selling block quite a bit lately. Has any enthusiast actually owned it or does it just keep exchanging hands for $2k more than it sold for last respective quarter? Riding the wave...

I saw this car before....it sold for like 18k...guess the buyer bit off more than he can chew and wants to turn a profit?

Mytur Binsdirti

I was interested i n the car, but while it does have the original paint, it's far from being called a survivor. Nice starting point, but it really needs to be done over. The exterior color is nice, but a tan interior on blue is horrid.

Yeah, this is at least the 3rd listing.

Was thinking the same thing. Someone needs to nip that rust  problem now. That survivor status claim will be hard to justify in a few more years.

Indeed, this car would probably be better off with the oh so common "Original Restored" title.

As unappealing as it may be, I doubt anyone here has ever even seen a saddle interior in a turquoise car before. That is very unique. If original, my guess is that it had to be an ordered car or a mistake. I kind of like it- it's different.

I'd believe the VA tags and ad to be legit, and the other a scam  :popcrn:

Like others mentioned, its been for sale for a while.  I'm pretty sure Bakerhillpins passed on buying it a few years ago.

That saddle interior wouldn't be a deal breaker for me.  There's certainly a certain coolness factor for being different, and a rare color combo.  Beyond that, it's not horrible.... I've seen much worse.  :eek2:

73rallye440magnum

What did it sell for the first go around?

Talk about inflation!  ::)

The guy in River Falls markets a lot of Mopars around here (I live near). Not a scam.

Looks like a dealer's selling it  (ebay seller:"now-cars").....and he's no piker either.  Just take a look at the 7 digits of his phone number "426-HEMI"  :whistling:

If that doesn't make you stand up and take notice.... nothing will.   :D :icon_smile_big:

No, never did look at that one. Several like it though, but with white interior. As Turbin said, that tan interior is nasty with the blue.

One I wish I had gone to see in Montana while I was on business travel in WY and had the opportunity to go look at for basically no cost to me. I literally said yes to buying a 69 RT one day before and was waiting on the inspection report. That was stupid since the inspection report turned up issues I was clear I didn't want to deal with. So I missed out and still kind miss that car.   :brickwall: :brickwall:  Maybe it will turn up again. Never know.
