It's been a while since I started one of these threads.  Take a guess as to where I am this week - free   to the person who guesses correctly.

For the ones who haven't played before, I will offer more clues later as the two photos from my hotel room may not offer a lot.

Best of luck!

No it is not Barcelona, and yes it is a city in Europe.

Here is a shot of one of the metro platforms.   :scratchchin:

And a shot of dinner last night.  Serving the same recipe for 109 years, they must be doing something right!   :yesnod:

Man it is just about lunch time here in TX's.  Seeing that not only has me starving but where I am getting lunch will be an utter dissapointment in comparison.

When you get a chane PM me the name of that restaurant, I will not divulge the location.

Just curious.

Yes and no.

It helped narrow down the region of Europe but not necessarily the specific city.

Pork knuckle

Stelze !  Schweinshaxe !

From Wikipedia: Schweinshaxe (German pronunciation: [ˈʃvaɪns.haksə]), in German cuisine, is a roasted ham hock (or "pork knuckle"), especially popular in Bavaria.

The Austrian version of this dish, called Stelze (Austrian pronunciation [ˈʃtɛl.tsɛ], Viennese pronunciation ['ʃtœˑ.tsṇ]), is usually marinated or pre-boiled in a caraway seed and garlic brine, roasted until the skin is crisp, and served with mustard, horseradish, and pickled chili peppers. The Bavarian version is often served with potato dumplings and red cabbage, or with sauerkraut and potatoes.

In other words, that is some damn fine ham you got there.
