Well I finally got around to cleaning and organizing my garage after the move. It only took me 4 months to get around to it.  I had to add 3 8' strip lights and I need to add 2 more and then I can call it done. I worked on it for 10 hours yesterday, emptied 10 cardboard boxes and a trash bin full of garbage.  It is so much nicer to be able to walk around in and find tools quicker too. For your viewing pleasure, my garage:

Looks good, I'm taking advantage of the Charger being at the shop and am doing mine right now.....well when I'm not on the computer.  I figure a mopar deserves a nice place to rest. :icon_smile_big:
No, it ain't a Hemi.....thank God!

You are where I want to be in 10 years - complete with a Charger/Challenger combo in the two bay.

How awesome is your place? All you need is a pool table up in the "man room" and your wife can have the house all to herself - she'll never see you again.

That is an outstanding place - especially the framed vintage Mopar advertisments hanging on the wall. Great finishing touches. :2thumbs:

I've had those ads and other signage for a long time with no real good place to put them.  Now I finally do and I can't tell you how motivated and inspired a nice clean garage makes me.  No more tripping over stuff and looking around for tools.

It actually was a long time coming to get this done and I'm glad I did.  I'll be restoring the Charger now and using the Challenger as my crusier.  Then when the Charger is done, it will be the Challengers turn and then ?

A pool table would be cool, but too much weight up top.  I'll just resort to a nicely stocked fridge, a TV, my computer with interent access and my MP3's providing endless music entertainment.  Thanks again for the comments, just wanted to share and hopefully inspire some others like I was.

Very nice setup!

Psst... If I'm not mistaken, the stars should be at top left when hanging old glory that way.

I think your right on the flag hanging. I Am sure that some of our Military brothers and Sisters will know for sure.

But on a different note that garage is awesome. I wish I had your room and detached from the house so the wife could stop complaning about the smell when I'm cleaning or painting. that is great.

Great looking garage.
Is that kind of an open storage area to the left there? It looks a bit different than the rest. :scope:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

MyMopar,

Thats a great garage. Very nice!

If I may...I'd like to make a suggestion though.

Hang fire extinguishers so that you are never
more than 20' away from one.

Trust me on this. It's cheap insurance.

nice setup you got there. I like the loft idea so you can hide away from people.

Dodgecharger-fan, good call on the flag.  I'll have to get my ladder out and fix that ASAP as I don't want to disrespect old glory.  I think it is cool how all you guys can pick up on different things, that is why I share, to get more input.

As far as the fire extinguisher go, I do have 2 in there now, one on each side.  I saw on Spike TV (oneof the car shows) that a company made FE's that were refillable with some special type of liquid and charged with your air compresser somehow. I can't remember for the life of me what it was called.  The really cool thing is that whatever you spray WON'T relight.  They sprayed a rag that was on fire with the stuff then afterwards tried to relight it with a torch and it wouldn't light. Now that's the type of stuff I want around.

I do have storage off the loft area.  I plan to lay out my doors, hood, fenders, trim, etc.. in that area while I do work to various parts of the car.  This way I can keep everything better organized and all in the same spot.

I still have to run the air lines through the wall where my compressor is, but for now I will have to drag the hose around. Thanks again for the comments and suggestions.  :2thumbs:

I FOUND IT!  The fire extinguisher I was talking about.  Here is the info:  You know the product is impressive when it is rated for Class D also, that is fire involving metals; magnesium, aluminum, & titanium.

And I'm Canadian! :D

I thought I was all set when we moved into this house with a two car garage. Now, I wish I had the extra space to have some of the areas that you've set up. Very nice work and great planning.
