Help! Radio wiring problem! 73.

Ok, so pulled original out, and have new one comnected. Car had 4 wires coming out, two orange (i assume lighting), black and red/w white stripe. In original radio the black and red were connected together to red on the radio, so i followed suit and connected them to red on the radio. I left orange wires out. I also connected my yellow wire, on the new radio, to thw same bunch for the time being (until i find "hot line", always "on" for radio memory). Here is the issue: every time i turn right signal, the radio turns off. Please help. Also, any advice on hot line? I know most use cigaret lighter one, but i wanted to see another option.

I cant find any diagrams for this online.
