Sorry if I was wrong, but after reviewing every page. I never saw a order form or link.
Peace my Friend.

All but one of them has an "Add to cart" button. Not being a smart a$$, but honest question: Have you ever ordered something online before?

Here are the phone numbers found on each of those sites, in case you'd rather talk to a human that takes your order and info:
Autoworld Store Toll Free: 1-888-910-2889
Supercars  (763) 425-6020
DiecastMuscleCars (715)-874-6037
DiecastModelWholesale 213-614-7971
DiecastAutoWorld 888-272-8754

BTW- the one that didn't have an "Add to cart" had a link to their order form, as this picture shows...

Sorry, I went through all the posts and never found a place or link to order one.

You just included the links that I provided in your quoted text above. :brickwall:

In any case, it isn't hard to find a place to order one.

:iagree:

2000 units is a pretty good size run of cars.

Mine was delivered 10 minutes ago ! I also got the 1:64 scale version.  Christmas is a little early this year.    :2thumbs:

I was talking before you gave me the links. Sorry about the confusion.

These days, yes it is. Gone are the days when Ertl did 6, 10 or even 20 thousand of a single release! These days it's all 500-1500. But I think the three amigos insistance that demand would be high coupled with the very high number of preorders convinced AW this one was worth making an exception for.

Oooooh. I thought you had been following thru the previous posts/threads on this subject since early this year, not just this one thread. :)

I think they'll be able to move 2000 easily enough.  Perhaps that'll convince them to follow up with some other requests from people in the know.

I agree.

Several Chargers are currently in the works, such as a Green Go '70 R/T with newly-updated (more accurate) Magnum 500 wheels, the blue '68 base model from "Christine" and even an all-black "Happy Birthday" General Lee with custom engine, no push bar, no rollbar, no graphics... the "pre-GL" version shown in one episode. The two latter cars will both have newly-tooled wheels (Cragar S/S and black steelies respectively), both wearing the meaty tires of the Crazy Larry car (tho 4 fronts on each, not the huge rears).

And, yes, we three figured we needed to pick a subject that we were certain would be popular with collectors, and pushed hard for a larger-than-usual quantity so we could show AW we knew what collectors were after, and we'd be trusted in the future when we push for another subject they might be wary of.

There are only a few colors in the 69 they haven't covered yet, I'd rather have those than a black GL. :Twocents:

No chance they're going to abandon "Factory-Equipped" Chargers anytime soon... hence the recent investment in the improved Magnum 500 wheels. You'll still be seeing those. Heck, give me the list of colors you still need and I'll forward it  to everyone involved (in the unlikely event AW is unaware of the colors they've missed).

I mentioned the '68 and '69 TV/Film cars because this post is/was about another. :)

Are these serialized and marked on the bottom?  I couldn't tell from the pic.  I bought two and would like to know which one is a lower number.  There are inserts blocking the view through the bottom, so I can't see them.  The cars look great though!

Awesome work there guys!!!

Dirty Larry lives again! :2thumbs:

Just love the underfloor overspray!!! :woohoo:

These are not numbered, and we know that would be preferred by many. I don't recall any of us discussing that feature, so I don't know if it was a conscious choice at AW or if we all just brain-farted and forgot to discuss it. :)

Only ever seen one Dirty Larry clone here in the UK.
Its a real Cult movie and mostly unheard of!

I'm sure this fine model will bring it back to life!!!
Well Done to all involved!!! :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

ps Rear exhaust resonators, are they a standard fitment?

Here's an example of what happens when you let dispassionate people make big decisions about a project.

First shot is an original publicity still for the film from 1974.

Second is the 2014 British release of the film on DVD.

Bad enough they got the wrong car... but why did even bother to change it in the first place!?!

To be really nit-picky, they also added a comma to the title that was never there before.
