Hopefully you have configured an OD transmission into your build, take full advantage of the aerodynamics.....200-250 MPH is easily feasible with the right components in a wingcar along with some $$$$$$

That is Bob Schuler. I last ran with him at the Silver State Challenge in 2009. He has since achieved his goal of 200mph in that thing!!! It is 440 powered with an 833AOD transmission.

Not sure as I don't have the T56 yet been looking at a few different ones, I am trying to find a later model one out of a 392 Challenger (higher torque rating). On the gearing I have three 8 3/4 third members still looking at gearing but i will probably run a 2.76 first.

Unless you are talking HP in excess of what the T56 can handle, as higher numeric ratio than 2.76 would probably serve you better. There is a point where you are geared too low to generate enough rpm at top gear to make the horsepower to overcome the wind resistance.

Your exactly right Mike, I still have a long way to go before I am road ready but I think I can easily do 200 MPH with the Nascar Aero even if my Daytona has a 400 HP 5.7 Hemi. I have been to 150 MPH in a 1995 Cobra and it was pretty much a stock 5.0 with bolt on parts and a 5 speed with 3.55 gears (and the front started to get light when I did that!)
