Fuel Injection

Car will be out of paint in a couple months so I have decisions to make. Anybody with experience, is the aftermarket fuel injection worthwhile. Going on a 70 r/t restomod with a 500 stroker and overdrive. Would like it to be a reacher, like powertour type stuff, and would spend the money if it makes appreciable driveability and fuel mileage improvements, and doesn't make a mess underhood.

I installed the msd atomic fuel inj with hot rod city garage aluminum fuel tank with in-tank fuel pump. Love the system. No tuning ever required.
