The Chase!

One day I was speeding in my Daytona, a patrol car began chasing me.  The closer he approached, the faster I went.  Finally after a long chase I puled over.  The cop approached my vehicle and said:  What the heck were you thinking boy?  Did you think you can outrun the law?   Well officer, a long time ago my wife ran off with a cop.   So what does that have to do with anything?   I thought you were trying to bring her back.
