I have been hearing about this Charger from various people at different Car shows. Finally it showed up at the One I was at today.

Original owners. 65 YO guy and gal, Was her b-day present in 1971. May build date. Keystones have been on it since day 2.

Very nice indeed!   :yesnod:  Not sure about the trunk spoiler though.  Is that original?
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Trunk spoiler does look off, like its too tall or something.  What a great looking car and story though, and how cool is it that they have kept that birthday present all these years.

It is a slapstick auto with 3.23 suregrip. He had the orig window sticker and build sheet. The car had over $1500 worth of options. The sticker was $5200 ir I remember right. That was a lot of money in 71.

Funny... That's exactly what the kid told me as I was buying his hide-aways.  He prefered the regular grille over the hideaways as well on his black '71.

A guy in the MOPAR club I belong to has one just like this car.
Triple black hemi 4 gear. He bought it from the OO whose
a local guy reportedly having quite the corral of some very
nice high end MOPARS. I haven't seen what this guy has
but the guy who now owns the 71 traded an original
69 Daytona plus some cash for his triple, hemi, 4 gear.

Def elusive and sleek.
