Any ideas on how to remove rubber from rear quarters?

I removed 80% of the tire rubber from the rear quarters, but the rest seems like its baked on.  :scratchchin:

Vasoline would make a mess, we always just used PAM cooking spray or WD-40 which is what most guys had in the truck or car anyway, rubber wiped right off.

Not a fan of the Vaseline method either, I've used wd-40 in the past.  Thats all for next time though, the op is wondering how to get the baked on stuff removed.

Charcoal lighter fluid will do the trick, and it won't hurt the paint at all. It works!

Wax and grease remover that can be purchased at a local auto paint shop.

I used enamel reducer on mine........ Worked great! doesn't hurt the paint at all.
