Very true which is why I wanted to learn my car inside and out.  This is the reason why I learned to do as much as I could with this car.  Benefits of this is if I should break down on the side of the road, I would be able to at least hopefully fix it temporarily till I got home to replace the bad part.  I've had to do that once in the 14 years I've had the car luckily!  Besides, doing the work yourself saves you a ton of money if you can get the same results.  Some people are better at doing things than others.  My interior I did entirely myself including the headliner which the seam ended up ripping when I was pulling it tight.  After fighting with the headliner, I knew my limitations and had a professional come to my house and do it.

Yes, I know my time is worth money but at the same time, I am educating myself and also getting to my my car better so its like a win / win.  Saving money with doing the work myself yet saving money from having to enroll in a class to learn how to do something.  Body work I will almost always farm out just because I know my limitations.  One of the big reasons why I initially bought this car was because of the body work that had already been done.  I'm sure that saved me tons of money since the body is straight as an arrow and the paint is mirror like!

Haven't called the guy yet.  Been working nights the past two days and have had a bunch of house stuff to take care of with redoing the kitchen.  Hopefully I will remember to call him over the weekend.  If not, his card is still on the console of the charger so I'll see it the next time I take the car out again.

Find out if he has 150 large to spend; if so see if he wants a 68 Hemi Charger.  :icon_smile_big:

I don't know if he would want that.  He already has a 68 Hemi Coronet.   :nana:

That's a poor man's car.
LOL! :ohhthesarcasm:  Alright lets get this over with!  Wip em out and see who the biggest man is! :patriot:

If the Hemi Coronet is the poor mans car then I must be homeless.

The guy has a Hemi Coronet who offered $80K to buy Resq302's 383 Charger.  Mytur has a Hemi Charger...he was just poking fun I'm sure.

The best time to sell a car is when it's not actually for sale. As far as a WIW I would say it would top out at $35k. If you can pull 2x or close to it market value you better jump on it like a fat kid on the last smartie :popcrn:

$70k buys you a pretty nice and correct Lift Off Hood car.
