Bouncing an idea about a 1970 hood

So my hood has some issues around the leading edge and some of the bracing underneath. The top of the hood is fine. If I bought a 68/69 hood from AMD could I use the bottom part? How different is the structure underneath? Just an idea.

nope, wont work totally different
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.
