My alignment is fine, car drives and corners as it should, tire wear is normal.  However, my steering wheel is uncentered.  Can I bring it back to a neutral position by something as simple as adjusting each tie rod end an equal amount but in contrary directions?

Take the steering wheel off and center it as you reinstall it.
"Dear God, my prayer for 2024 is a fat bank account and a thin body. Please don't mix these up like you did the last ten years."

It has a master spline, you can't or at least you shouldn't do that.

I had a different situation then, where the previous owner did not reinstall the steering centered.

I should add that I did check to make sure it was on the master spline.

Same issue here, my steering wheel is off by a few degrees.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

terrible one

Hey Ghoste yes you can do it exactly as you described, if the alignment is where you want it otherwise then you can center the wheel by changing the toe side to side, just make sure that the total toe remains the same.

Ghoste

Thanks, thats what I was hoping.

I wrote a good reply to Bulls (Curtis) question on this , but cant find it at the minute ,
will have another look later , if I  / we  can't find it !  will type it out again later ,  you need to make sure  the wheels are paralell both sides  first & the steering wheel straight , before you connect the tie rods back up again .

Ghoste

I was just going to raise the front end and turn one side a half turn and then turn the other side a half turn in the opposite direction and repeat in small increments until it comes good?
