He's a hell of a guy & there is so much to say and too little time to say it. But to give you an example; he once visited the Virgin Islands and when he left, it was just....The Islands.

I forget when I joined here, as Doc74, but it was quite a bit before the new site came to be.  Jesse was still the owner I think.  This place has become more than just a place to hang out.  In 2004 I met my future wife here in Charger chat and yes we're still happily married.

A big thanks to Troy and the mods for keeping this place going.      :2thumbs:

Hey Doc, I did not know you had changed your screen name. When I used to talk to you you were still trying to get over here to the US. Of course I took a few years off from the Charger so I wasnt around here much. Good to see ya again!

Yea, yea, yea, great site.   But I still want my t-shirts from Jessie.  I'll cut you, dawg, I swear...

I miss some of the really-old-timers - StratoBrock for a good laugh or ChargerBill to see what happens when someone flunks anger management class many, many times.

Neal

PS - My genitals are huge.

Ghoste

I wonder where he ended up, does he even have a car anymore?  Maybe he took that t-shirt money and split for Cuba.

"I love you guys" LOL.  All kidding aside, I agree with the original post and what you guys are saying.  Charger.com is just different.

I truly appreciate all the help and support I have received from all of the senior members.  I have learned a lot, and continue to learn.  I with I was more mechanically inclined than what I am, but I made continue to learn and have more confidence on working on these old cars.  Like everyone else, I've said to myself I was going to sell over and over again.  But, I get the advise that I need to fix the current issue and move on.

Thanks a ton Troy and the mods for keeping the site that way it is. :2thumbs:
My name is Mike and I'm a Moparholic!

Hey Steve!  I took a few years off myself but I did make it over here in January of 2007 and married Emily!  It's unbelievable to look back to when we were hanging out in the chat room and now I'm on this side of the pond.   :icon_smile_big:

So how's life treating you?  I sometimes think back to all the people in the chat, I don't think any of them are still active here.  We sure had a good time!

5 years for me and its been a huge source of knowledge for repairs, mods or general stuff about my cars, had a few laughs too. Huge Thanks to Troy and mods for keeping that way. Also, greatly appreciated is the tech section with real world tips from guys that build and race or have found a better way to achieve a good result.

There's been births, deaths and lots of interesting amd imaginative threads on builds, restos and mods over the time as well as peoples life experiences at the same time.
Most of the members I'd happily share a few beers and talk cars with if I ever got to Carlisle or one of the big U.S. shows.

Cheers,

Cant complain Doc. Life is pretty good. Got married and built a new house, so the Charger went on the back burner. Just built a stroker and installed a blower this week. Glad you said Emily. I was trying to remember her name. Tell her hello.

I'll second what OP said. There's no place like DC.com. Hopefully some day I'll make it to an event and meet some of you in person.

RallyeMike

Because of this site, I've met new friends, found parts I needed, got some good tips, laughed my ass off, and even got leads on a few cars. I'd have to say that the 11 days of my life spent here have been a good investment.

I even managed to nail several members wives and girlfriends :icon_smile_tongue:

Thanks guys (and gals).
