you need the wire end terminals or the plastic piece?

The plastic sleeve connector to go onto an original alternator for a 68 BB.   The one I have currently has the screw spade style that connects to another connector that has the spring and magnet.

I'll check with Bill Evans.  Any other recommendation would be great.  I haven't called RT Specialties, but the website doesn't show anything.

Thanks guys...

I have old engine harness's that probably have the plastic piece, but I guess I'm not 100% sure of what you need....got a pic of needed part? If I have one, it's yours for the mailing price

YearOne has them and places like Napa sometimes carry them.

I guess with "spring and magnet" you meant the brush assembly, right ?

I think you'll have to get the terminals on a terminals supply store or convenience/hardware shop

You can also swap the brush asssembly for the regular pronged brush instead the screw kind. Brushes are interchangeable between those... NOT ONE of the isolators though

here is a full brush and terminals kit for the screw kind brushes

on this pic we can see the difference on the isolators:

the one on the right is the one what was changed on lates alternators for the C kind one used on laters squarebacks

BUT AS MENTIONED, keeping same isolators you actually have, brushes are interchangeable bewteen prong and screw kind!!! I have done it.

Thanks guys!   This helps out.

I think I had an issue with one of the isolators.  I put on the correct alternator and after finding a ground issue, all is good.  Thanks for bearing with my stupid analogies.  I keep learning.....
