Mystery R/T emblem? (It's for a 69 grille!)

  I bought a bumper/grille set for a 70 Charger last year. The ad said it was an R/T. That didn't matter, my car is not. After finally going over what I bought I realized the R/T on the grille door was placed next to an arrow emblem. That's not correct a 70 has the R/T instead of the arrow emblem right? The "mystery" is what is this from? (The holes don't line up for a 70 placement.)
 The back of the R has 27561 with a 1 below. The back of the T has 2898 931 with 55062 under and the Chrysler pentastar at the base of the T. You can see it mounts with 2 screws going into pads that are the depth of my fins on the headlight door but has a locating pin also. (?) Other than needing the paint touched up it looks to be in very good condition. (The chrome is nice and not pitted at all.)  
 I tried the grill data base and can't find numbers that correspond with 69 or 70 grilles.

Definitely looks like a 69 style to me. 68 has studs 69 has really short countersunk Phillips screws.

I just checked the numbers on the back of my original headlight door emblem for my 1969 charger RT and the numbers match (note the number behind the R is 27551).
