Now if someone would contact Mr.Vandiver they could find out where he made his purchase and see  if the history holds up.

The Vandiver Daytona on page 77 of the Supercars book has a different dash in it!!   
Maybe Jim had 2 cars - based on 66-67 bodies, and later reskinned??

I could be wrong but the 69 pictured here might have been a sportsman car. In which case it being an older chassis might make sense.

Just looking at that cage I would say that is the same chassis, BTW how big was Buddy Baker? Looks like me when I sit in my Charger!
