My 75 makes this weird braking squeal when cold. I can hear the brakes, making noise that is definitely a squeal when I apply them. They work fine, no clunking or grinding noises.

When the car is warmed a bit, the squeal seems to go away and quiet down.

I'm not worried about performance or spending any money but more curious about what is causing this intermittent squeal?

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Front discs new? Sometimes no matter wether you install the anti-rattle clips or not, they vibrate just enough to make a squeal noise.
Just the pads. Right material, right surface.
If they are not wearing unevenly I wouldn't worry.
