Wow, I think this deserves a post..1969 F6 hemi charger on ebay.
Is this true they only made two '69 426's in f6? That number seems low?
Anyhow, I think its time I changed my screen name to f6-4life.

I've heard the number, two (F6) cars for probably close to twenty years. Not sure if it's accurate, but the experts claimed it was, mostly due to late intro on F6 Green. For some reason, I thought there was one w/ a luggage rack, which might be the other. :Twocents:

Mytur Binsdirti

45 years from now, do you think that anyone will want to place an Obama bumper sticker of the back of their freshly restored Challenger or Mustang?

Homerr

Green paint without green interior looks great to me.

Nice car.

F6 was available on Chargers as early as November/December of 1968 making it available for about 7 months of the production year so that's not really 'late' nor 'limited'.

It is impossible to know how many cars came in what color and combination for '69. Any 'production numbers' are either of known cars or pure speculation.
Seeking information on '69 St. Louis plant VINs, SPDs and VONs. Buld sheets and tag pictures appreciated. Over 3,000 on file thanks to people like you.

FWIW I spotted a charger that is either that car or it's twin in an enclosed semi trailer. (It could be as far back as 5yrs.) It was on a busy street with the side doors open in my neighborhood just outside of Portland Or. :shruggy:

A 69 Hemi charger is rare but this color is seldom seen on any 69 charger.  It is a small world but even back in the day few I've spoken to had even seen a hemi car on the street.

I've seen both accounted for HEMI F6 Charger R/Ts.
One at "spring fling" - I'll assume it is the one Restorations by Julius restored. Stated above to be a 4-spd car.
&
There used to be one in northeast OHIO, a V88 "stripe delete" car that I believe radio personality Mason Dixon owned at one time.  This car received a white stripe & some quarter panel repair/paint after a freeway tire mishap on the way home from a Vin Devers Sylvania OH car show in the '90s.

That is the earliest tsb I have seen mentioning F6 green. What is the earliest production F6 car someone has seen? For me it's a February car. Granted I do not dig a whole lot into just color specific things but that is the earliest I have a note for, but as stated I do. to track all cars as close as I do some.

I have an XS car with a 224 SPD on file.

I have an F6 Super Bee with a 122 SPD.

I have info on a F6 Coronet R/T with a 121 SPD,
and info from a F6 Charger R/T with a 217 SPD.

I was looking at that car last night, you guys know Green is my favorite color... F6 with white interior.... :drool5: I love the white top/stripe, I like the tall bumper guards (need to find a set for my car one day), love the steelies/dog dishes...ditch those gawd-awful RWL tires, that car would be PERFECT!

These pics are REALLY making me want to paint my '68 F6!

Ghoste

As mentioned, the 2 produced number is speculation but I can also add that I don't have any F6 Hemi cars in the Registry.

moparchris

Lots of nice pictures... guess they couldn't get their expensive camera to focus on the fender tag :Twocents:

Davtona

She looks good but too bad there wasn't a little sun when the pictures were taken. F6 looks better with a little sun it kinda lights it up IMHO. F6 looks better in real life than what these pictures show.  :Twocents:
