He was on here about 5 years ago and left when he kept posting some fanciful tales that everyone was calling him on.  Just wondering because I know he is still restoring his Charger but at one time he planned to get a fake fender tag with a lot of the codes changed.  I was just sitting here thinking on whether or not he was ever successful with that scam.

I remember him , he had a 69 R/T  :scratchchin:    cant help with what he was up to then  , but  funnily enough come across his website or  cardomain thingy the other night while searching for charger stuff,  showing how his charger was going & what he has done etc  :shruggy: or I think it was him  :scratchchin:

Likely was, I've seen it myself and searched through it hoping to find if he created a fraudulent tag but nothing in there.

I remember him, he emailed me after he left the site, asking questions about my charger. The guy that ended up taking on the restoration of his charger was a member from this site. 69Hemi, i think was his name on this site, he restored the green 69 Hemi charger and had an awesome site WRT the restoration of the Hemi charger.

I'm glad the car is being restored, I just hope he abandoned the idea of making an phony fender tag.

Here is a post from his car domain. Jet is the members name, that is mentioned in his post. I would love to get an update on the car.

(1/9/2010)Today Jet and I finished welding in the trunk.  Besides that we got the front floor fitted for the first three times then tomorrow we should get it welded in and start cutting off the quarters.- What we still need to get done includes, removing and replacing the quarters, fenders, doors, filler, sanding, and primer.  Then unfortunately it may be time for some moth balls after that.  If I get some good grades then there is not need for the moth balls.(1/16-17/2010)This weekend Jet and I rebuilt all the hinges and we braced one door so we can cut off one quarter.  The console brackets and the shifter bracket were burned in.  The only thing we need to do is cut a hole in the floorpan for te shifter to go through. Today we cut off the quarter panel on the right side came off.  We found out we need a wheelhouse because the lip is so shot up on the original.  Both quarters should be in next week and they hould be on by next Saturday.

Don't remember, and based on what I've read so far I guess it's better that way...
