Thanks Dave... One day, I need to take a trip to his house....... As the crow flies, I think he lives less than 5-10 miles from me.........   :2thumbs:

I have Ted's parts too, although I didn't put them on my car yet, & had bought most of them as a package from someone other than Ted who bailed on their own Daytona project for various reasons. I had called Ted twice over the years, once about the parts I have, & he was very helpful. Just adding here because Ted mentioned in Dave's letter that he offers help to those who didn't buy the parts from him & I wanted to confirm that it's true.

By the way, don't call him unless you have time because he loves to talk wing cars.   (Which is cool)

I bought his extra heavy duty parts for my clone project, he asked for measuments on the front end to make sure the nose would fit properly, I have had it assembled and blown apart a few time for fitting and painting and the parts fit perfect. Wing is glass around some large aluminum and weighs 62 lbs.

I will be posting pics in a few months when it is all done, have to swap the oil pan because it sits so low, easy to remedy with coil overs on all corners.

Ted makes a great product that looks and fits perfect.

wingcarenvy

I can vouch for that too. My Superbird clone had his kit installed on it and it fit perfect and the parts were really high quality.

I have used his parts on 3 cars they are by far the best glass parts available, extremely accurate reproduction parts, Ted parts have saved alot of wing cars and has built many more, his parts have also been copied by a few people, especially his nose cone  ,  HE WILL BE MISSED!

After reading the obituary and some online articles, it sounds like his family and friends are confident that he is in a better place, which is comforting.

Ted and I talked on the phone many times over scripture and the daily life and the Bible's influence on it. He lived about 10 miles from me...

Grant is still up in the air about it, he has a lot to think about... He has his own life that he needs to focus on too, hopefully he will. I will see if he needs further help, but I'm constrained to a ritual as well called a full-time job..........
